Not sure if i am thinking of the same thing as Digital-A,

People can get access to the information on your mobile phone through using software and a bluetooth conection. The demonstration i saw they got a phone number and a text of a ladies mobile and asked her about it. Can be stopped if you dont have your bluetooth on always on, also it saves battery!

If thats not what Digital-A means, i am sure he will explain! i am curious too :weee:

Everytime I connect my mobile by USB to charge it ( lost charger) it always tries connecting to the internet.. really annoying but firewall usually stops that.. wondering what info its sending out?

theres a company on the isle of man which if you give a number they will txt asking for permission to be tracked, if the person replys saying yes (now you can see how anybody could in possesion of the phone send that txt for you and hand it back with the words ”yeah you left it at work you gimp!”) then they can be followed using the internet but unlike some devices and software wont give you any txts/phone calls etc made from the ‘tracked’ phone. it costs 16p a time for the location

aye there was, the comp I use doesnt have it installed, the only thing I installed was iTunes to download mp3s to the phone.

I have some software its RSD Lite (for updating) and Motorola phone tools (you will need to torrent these) But visit http://www.motomodders.net/ its a good site for your motorolas tells you how to fix stuff and change all the settings, i use it for my razor and you can do loads of stuff! 😉 i mod mine all the time, raaa

cos firewall comes up with message saying that this device trying to access the internet. screen on phone says do not disconnect the USB as could damage files etc..
