Back in the day, I used to get so spun that I would see tiny white shards everywhere I looked, mostly on the floor. It usually started after about three days awake. Now this wasn’t a problem at first as I knew it to be a type of delirium and I was determined to not be one of THOSE people, just like I never found myself geeking out the window. But the first time I actually found a shard on that brown and gold shag carpet, it was ON. Hours of searching, ass in the air, face in that carpet, combing, brushing, gently petting…I sorted through my findings… seemingly 3 or 4 nice little crumbs, I thought! Smoko, wow-oh, SOOOOOO SICK. Until I could work through that particular tweak, I had to allow myself to carpet surf for hours at a time, but FORCE myself to throw that shit away the next morning regardless of how hopeful I thought a piece might look. HAHA! What a way to live.
