Thats really bad, i’m not sure whats worse the fact that they steal peoples kidneys or the rich people for paying for them.
I wonder if they know they are stolen from other people and how do they know if they have the correct match surely they need to be the same blood type?
they are stolen to order, and trained doctors are doing this. its rife across India and many other countries, poor people are effectively being farmed and harvested for their internal organs :yakk:
Its completely against the hippocratic oath and other ethical procedures but all the people involved know exactly what they are doing and support it all the way.
Across the world the belief in the “free market” is so powerful, that life is cheap (the flipside of people being able to reproduce without restriction) – humans (and parts of them) are another commodity to be bought and sold.
Even in our Western nations its only the bureaucracy and government which everyone loathes which stops things like this happening…
Thats really terrible i know they had alot of cases like this in america, there was also something a few years back that people were stealing womens unborn babys.
when you think about it its a pretty sick world we live in.
in many countries where terminations of pregnancy are discouraged for cultural/religous reasons, pregnant women are expected to bring the baby to term; after birth the baby is then sold for cash
in previous years even the British when they colonised these nations kept up this practice.
Babies were purchased and raised in British-style nurseries and boarding schools under a strict régime, educated and then used as police, soldiers and other government officials to make the natives feel there was some sort of autonomy. The idea was that natives would see that authority figures were from their ethnic group and be more likely to comply.
(This upbringing has a big impact on the way many Commonwealth countries are governed even today!)
Jackie Chan nearly ended up being sold to the British for HK$25, as his parents couldn’t afford to feed him! (instead a Chinese man who ran a kung fu school offered to take him in). All this happened in the 20th century!
