Wicked article, a pretty vivid acount of a rave party.
I have never been to a London party but lots in Wales, SouthWest and Midlands.
All have had great music, cool people and mostly great venues and good organisation.
However I have only ever been to one that charges and most poeple complained vigorously. Isn’t the point of a free party that it’s free. I think the crew make a fair amount on drugs and drink, and for the partygoer, even though it can seem like a cheap night out, you often end up spending far more that a club night by the time you pay the petrol half way round the country. I think it would be much more useful if security offered you an acid tab/spliff/line for a fiver on entry, coz thats usually the first thing you look for anyway lol!
And in my opinion it’s all about the outdoor parties anyways, can’t beat a fat soundsystem in a beautiful forest and partyin on whilst watchin the clouds spiralling above you and some woodland paths taking you into fairy land….
