right on the pc i normally use for t’internet i can’t get it to work, I was useing it yesterday and a windows update thingy came up and it said to restart the computer so i did.

when it restarted the internet would not work. it says that broadband is not connected which it is (well all the wires are anyway because this lap top uses the same broadband)

anyone know whats gone on?

not on the pc, iam at the moment though. its one of those bt wireless jobbers but theres a wire that goes to the pc.

Hmm i havent got a clue i would suggest you call your sp to see if they are experiencing problems.

try reseting your modem .. 9/10 problems this fixes

unplug your power lead from your modem ..then wait 30 seconds and plug back in .. give it a bit of time to reset ..

Odd thats the number i use for work all the time i put customers through to that number everyday.
to be fair i gave you the number for business bb not residentail i just tried it defo not halifax

awww .. i had this image in my head of every one that had rang you up at your work ending up with a halifax bank acount instead of a bt internet connection :laugh_at:
