Hi guys, I’ve got a bit of a problem and i really don’t know how to solve it!
Basically i had a ipod nano which i lost but have now found it. I bought a new one and have updated the Itunes sortware so it’s now the current version.
On my old ipod i have some banging tunes but don’t have the cd’s anymore, I’m trying to import the song selection from the old ipod onto the current software but it ain’t letting me do it! Does anyone know how to do this? Cheers for reading and i hope this makes sense!
have asked Mr tnak who says are you using a mac or a pc?
I dont have an Ipod, so sorry If Im no where near the right track, but cant you go Into “My Computer” and select the removable drive manually? You could copy the content that way. I assume Its all MP3 so no worries about format.
Oh, and assuming Its a Windows OS, yeah.
Even if they’re in a different format, post what It is, chances are it can be converted.
I’m using a PC:wink:
Gonna try it now Dom what ur saying, although i might just wait till i see me brother. he’s a whiz-kid when it comes to technical stuff!

Im alreet with computers, just never owned an Ipod. Which helps In an Ipod heal thread… :laugh_at:
Mate if your trying to get the tunes of an iPod that is no longer registered to your PC don’t do anything yet!
I am just checking the new posts on here as i have been busy most the night and have only just removed the beer can that became stuck to my hand with Araldite….
There is software you can download that will copy songs from your iPod even if it is not registered to your PC (version of iTunes)
I will have a look for you if your feeling lazy and will post (or PM) a link tonight or tomorrow morning.
Hold tight and don’t wipe/re-format it mate as i will sort it for you 🙂

Never used this mate but your looking for some software that does this, basically hit good ol google and search for iPod rip or copy songs form iPod etc (I am sure you get the idea) and then you will find some software that will sort you out.
I cant recommend any as I have all my media files stored safely raaa
thanks for that starlaugh! Much obliged!!
Downloaded/uploaded the music on to my computer now. Starlaugh ur a fooking leg end man! Ill buy you a pint when i eventually do meet up wit ya:wink:
