Morning everybody! Just a quick question. I woke up this morning to find a note on the front door to my block of flats with one of my neighbours obviously angry that someone is smoking skunk in the block.

I’m fairly sure they mean me after 2 big blazing sessions in last couple of days. The tone of the note was rather irritating especially the end sentence. I will call the police, I mean what I say.

the note was all in capitals as well! I was so close to replying call them then. But my question is, does anybody know if it’s actually legal for me to smoke in my own home?

its only personal use,I will never AV anything over a quarter in the house. To provide a bit of context I live in London.

Any assistance would be great. Thanks guys!

unfortunately it isn’t once it causes a nuisance to others (if not they don’t know its happening). in some regions you can even end up with Court and an ASBO which bans you from your own house; and they have even targeted middle class Asian families with their own mortgages (albeit the son was funding his share of the mortgage via the drugs money) so its not just social housing.

Various ventilator fans are available to remove such thngs as cooking odours, fumes from electronic assembly etc and exhaust them to somewhere further away, maybe one of those might work (or you can haul them out of old PC’s, although be careful about harvesting the PSU fan unless the PC is years old and hasn’t been plugged in si
ince then or you might get sparked)

Stick one on their door thanking them for their kind letter and the put that if they do call the police you will sadly be forced to inform them of the excessive noise they make or that you suspect he drives drunk regularly or something to that effect. Anything you know about him that he’d rather didn;t get mentioned to anyone or something like that ;).

At one time the holocaust was legal,segregation was legal,slavery was legal. How people get dictated to by the state and assume everything they say must be correct is tragic really. I’m going to cut down for or two then just go back to it. Lived here 6 months n nothing happened until these monster sessions. What a sheltered dick head the neighbour is though!
