I bloody hope not, one life has been more than enough
i dunno.. cos.. the scientist in me believes that when you die, you die. i’m pretty sure everything can be explained by science (perhaps more advanced science than we have at the moment). but i’m a girl and i’m drawn in by everything mystical and magical so i’m not reaaally sure.
only one way to find out tbh

I doubt science will ever explain existence itself. Science is a series of approximations that are valid within certain ranges and parameters. Whether or not there is an afterlife there will always be a need for philosophy.
i don’t mean science will find an answer for philosophical questions like, ‘is there an afterlife?’. i mean that i think all phenomena that we don’t understand now will eventually be explained when our technology gets better. i don’t think anything in this world is a miracle or magic.
Indeed nothing is ‘supernatural’, there will always be a scientific explanation for anything we encounter within our universe. However our understanding of what is natural is expanding to include stranger and stranger concepts and there is no reason to think that what we perceive as our universe is all there is.
Scientists are still trying to get their heads around the fact that only a few percent of our ‘universe’ can be encountered/measured by us! (dark matter). And multiverse theory is gaining popularity.. god knows what is out there.
But even if we find equations to model everything that happens to us I don’t think that takes away any of their value, I think mystical experiences can still be real even if they have a physical counterpart.
After my experiences with a paranormal detection agency and us destroying a 100 ft marshmallow man I can safely say that the supernatural does indeed exist.

there’s a perfectly rational explanation for the marshmallow man

There is mate and that is Gozer and Dan Aykroyd for not empting his stupid fucking head when he had the chance. At least he wasn’t thinking about Godzilla. that could of turned nasty rather quickly.
(Personally I was thinking of a naked Megan Fox, that would of been sweet)
pergatory; you’ll find yourself locked in a room with megan fox but she’ll be like a manaquin from the waist down and relentlessly demanding from the neck up
