i put all my music 60 gig of albums into i tunes, and what it has done is fucking separated most of the albums, and put some songs on there own , other songs i cant fucking find, its a right fucking nightmare is therte any way of making it better
argh dun get me started my tunage is all over the place since installin that little devil still cant sort it out, help wud b guuuud:crazy_diz
I’d suggest getting rid of it altogether.
What are you using it for? If its for an ipod then I’d use winamp to listen to music then get something like yamipod to transfer music onto your ipod.
yeah im using it for i pod
but almost every album has been ripped apart as i said it 60 gig of albums
ill have a look at them progames
i know how you feel i try gettingh my songs and my computer just freezes it fucking sucks ass:ar15:

i tried that yamipod it just keeps saying plug my i pod in, it is in
I’ve never had a problem with i tunes. I have found it to be the best music player around better than shitty media player!
Sometimes it puts the music in strange orders but that be rearranged by the click of a button. Try pressing album or artist at top of the screen!
got to the “browse” button at the top right, then simply select the album instead of artist from the right-hand list thing.
I have to say even WMP is actually far better than I-tunes.
I can’t stand it it is a horribly bloated piece of software that does all sorts of nasty things wiuth copyright protection and generally takes over your computer.
Heres a few others you can try….

This is the best and fairly cheap. You can click and drag files on and off your ipod and it just works like a windows folder.
ah, but you own a mac …. not surprising it works better on your kit though…. :laugh_at:
this is strange, itunes put all of my music into categories for me, and everything is in the right place, as it should be
i found it a bugger to work out, took me 2 months to get what i wanted from it, onto my ipod
I think the problem with apple is they alsways think their right, and often dont take into consideration other ways of doing things (like microsoft).
I had to do a presentation at college the other day. First of all i loaded my project onto the college computer and alot of things wouldn’t work! So i had to get my time moved to the next week. So the next week i go in with my little sisters mac laptop. Unfortunately apple dont even use the same conectors for most projectors (couldn’t get it running throigh usb either).
In the end i had to do the presentation skipping alot of important stuff which lowered my grade quite abit!
Apart from that macs are awesome!
Mr Tanks Mac has somehow crashed and possibly will loose all his music / work etc
(as far as I can tell -nothing was ‘backed up’ cant actually ask as he just keeps swearing!!!)
as he may have to delete all files to start up again……
I not good at computers so a bit lost and just sitting quietly observing the mayhem :hopeless:
but said that before this week he loved it..

thats shit i lost all my stff a few yrs ago painfull
if its just the operating system that has crashed and the hard drive isn’t actually wholly corrupted (or even if some parts are) much of the data is still on it and can be recovered
that is the case for every computer irrespective of what operating system is in use..
with a PC if I can’t restart the OS I would physically remove the hard drive, install it as a slave in another machine and then copy the data across a network (but then again being an IT manager I have access to lots of spare hardware)
Unfortunately I rarely use macs so am not sure of how to recover data…
maybe ruff beat provider may have some ideas; or SdZ if he sees this thread…
