feckin years ago 95 or something or maybe 96 when we ran the solstice festival there when they was chopin the trees down.
must of been earlyer coz i had a merc 307 flat bed n caravan when the festival was on. think we put a 1kw rig in that castle on the hill n squated it n all the rare medevil plaster fell off the walls.
thing was i got nicked for the later festival and got renicked for breacking the bale conditions and injunction to stay out of berkshire & newbury (MI5) had been tailing us n filming shit and makin reports.
I ended up in jail in oxfordshire with another guy & a lass also got jailed.
they love me in newbury so they do :laugh_at:
another twist to the tail there was we had a pirate radio station and a WPC who i’d got over friendly with came on air n did a shout out for me. she lost her job for fraternisation lol
we had desert storm playin on there once used to broadcast to berkshire every eve, yer prob abit young to remember all that.
