  • What do you use your cam-corder for out of interest? filming free parties back in the day?

that was the main thing – I’ve still got stuff from 2004/05 to edit :crazy_diz (this is what takes a lot of the time) and why I’ve been spending more time on stills recently.

I might do some videos of stuff the local environment groups are up to but times still an issue (even the other dude what did some said it took ages and he actually worked at Pinewood!) plus carrying even more camera kit would mean I needed a car to shift it in, which wouldn’t exactly be eco friendly 😉

I did put one video up on youtube about a year ago, I deliberately try and wait a few years so hopefully the statute of limitations (or people just dropping out of the scene) means that the cops can’t use them as evidence against folk, as the Norfolk lot came unstuck this way (cops actually got a Court Order and asked youtube for personal info – and they got it!)

Yeah i remember you saying about rave vids being bad to upload near the time of the party. Got any good ones?

    YouTube – badgertaxis’s Channel

I’ve put these on here before (shortly after I made them) only had the spare time to do 2 rough cuts in 1 year 😥

the rave stuff came out of 3 1 hour tapes and the cats from nearly an hour of footage.

digital is a double edged sword – its so easy to shoot loads due to less cost and video editing is a lonely time consumning procedure…

Can anyone recommend a good cheap cam-corded, how do you measure the quality with them?

    tyco

Only films in black and white tho unfortunatly and had to be plugged into a VCR (you could probably plug it into your digi box recorder or into your pc now days ). :laugh_at:

I love the old style design. Sexy!!

I should save some money to buy that. How much would it cost in dollars?

I don’t even know where it is atm lol

just search “tyco toy camcorder” in google or ebay and I’m sure you’ll find a rough idea of how much they go for. 😉
