  • I am looking for a “jukebox” application. Essentially I want a application that will let me select a song that they want to hear and put it in a queue after previously played / selected songs. Usually I just use WMP to play songs, but with so many people wanting different songs, I want something that will queue up songs.

E.G. If song 1 is playing, and person A wants song 2 to play, they will select it and it will play after song 1. Then person B comes up and wants some 3 to play, they select it and it will play after song 2 plays, which will play after song 1.

Anyone know of any application/programs that will do this? An Itunes plugin will work as well, if it does what I have described.

iTunes will do what you’re describing without any extra plugins needed.

In the list of playlists on the left-hand side of the iTunes window there should be an item called “iTunes DJ” (or “Party Shuffle” if you have an older version). Click it and it should set it up for you. Now when you right-click a song in your library there should be a new option to “Add to iTunes DJ”. It will add it to a rolling playlist called “iTunes DJ”.

Also get Spotify because it’s amazing and everyone should have it (and it has a similar playlist cueing function).

dont get itunes its the work of the devil. go to Free software downloads and software reviews – CNET Download.com and search there will be loads, I like wimamp personally (both player and jukebox type program).

    ah, so winamp has it?

is there any that will make the double click do it, cuz most people wont adjust to right-clicking
