what is it thats so attractive about kate moss? i mean, even i find myself lured to crappy stories written by idiots about her just so i can know another tiny (prolly inaccurate) fact about her. why do i bother? its not like im likely to get in her pants, or even a convorsation for that matter. so why do i give two shits about her or her life? just cos i fancy her? or because so little is known about her really? i cant work it out.

on another note: the bloke who drives my van reads the mirror and i saw teh expose on craig charles doing 60 hits of crack on a london to manchester drive. it was fucking exessive ammount of crack, but if the rest of his life is ticking over, whats the fucking problem? i mean he blatantly did it, but so what? he has the cash to do it, and its his cash, so fuck it. then the mirror goes on about him glamourising it for little kids and im like “your the ones that put his drug use in the faces of little kids, you greedy tabloid bastards”. having said that, i bumped into craig charles at the end in holborn once. a more petulant bastard you could not care to meet. totally off his face, couldnt stand up properly, was falling into people and then demanding appologies form them. my estimation shot down, i can tell you.

well our society is based around the myth of upward mobility. we are all forcefed the fiction that if we work hard or get famous, then the world will suddenly become a magical place where nothing affects you because you are surrounded my yesmen and cash. the fact of the matter is that the likelyhood of you dying with significant;ly more cash than youir parents is slim to none. societys old class boundries have been eroded, but only a little bit, and most of british society is designed to keep you in your place, not rocking the boat because one day you might be steering it. now the british public arent totally stupid, they can see theres something wrong with this lie they are told about fame an fortune, but they dont know what it is, so as soon as one working class lad like craig gets to be upper middle class, they all love to see him fall back down to reassure them that a) fame’s not all its cracked up to be and b) that hes no different from them therefore c) they can make it too.
