He had half a gram in one hit. Survived. Overbearing desire to lie down and go to sleep write on a busy pavement in London. Forced himself to get home. Mind over matter. Was told it was amphet. Slept it off in hospital as a flat mate was concerned and persuaded him to go there to get checked out. Discharged after 4 hours and walked home.
