Hi Denny – would be interested to know more about your research and also how popular both ketamine and the associated electronic dance music scene are in Singapore…

unfortunately we very rarely get people from SE or East Asia posting unless they are trying to sell something, so its good to see someone on here participating intelligently in the discussions 🙂

Cant tell you much about the electronic dance music scene are in singapore cos i rarely visited the nightclubs T_T. The thing is, drugs are pretty well controlled in Singapore. Singapore is just way too small. Everything is so easy to detect and trace. Of course, there are still some people smuggling drugs into Singapore. In singapore, for teens who consume drugs and are caught, they will first be sent to a drug rehabilation centre and then a prison school where they are given a second chance in life. In prison school, they study exactly what other normal schools are offering and take the same kind of international examinations as them. Also, there is something known as the yellow ribbon project to help support the ex offenders. Cool huh =]

Ketamine is 51 times stronger than Cocaine, 51 times more hallucinogenic then Acid, And 51 times more explosive than Ecstacy.. Its like getting a personal visit, from God.

    i think you’re confusing ketamine with pos51 😉

any reasons? are they just no good? or maybe family pressures, you come across as very clever and maybe your parents don’t want you to come across like a “Ah Beng” :laugh_at:

I am sure some my family think I am one, for spending many years partying and getting high :laugh_at:

better than being hanged, (do people still get rotan?) although I have got the impression that in recent times there are so many young drug users in both Singapore and Malaysia despite the penalties that it would be ludicrous to hang everyone especially if they were otherwise decent young people (i.e not doing crime to fund habits…)

I’m still curious though as to how you found this site and what you were looking for on here, are you studying something at uni about addiction?

Being someone who enjoys drugs is worse than being a murderer in some places, even here in the UK its fucking frowned upon. absoloute wanK

what is really fucked up is that leaders of countries will disagree over ideologies to the point they send their young soldiers to fight to the death to defend their positions – same with religious leaders

yet these same leaders will sit down around the table at a UN meeting and unanimously agree that drugs are bad and that their use must be stamped out no matter how many lives are lost in doing so…

    wheres the logic!
like Paul McCartney said, if every single person was to take lsd, the world would be a better place..

I agree there’s no logic in prohibition – but I do think someone who gave us Mull of Kintyre and the Frog Chorus really isn’t the best spokesperson for advocating widespread drug use 😉

Seriously though its a real shame that we haven’t progressed as a world to the point where Barack Obama didn’t have to confess to his drug use in high school days as something to be ashamed of – although I think he may be the first world leader in my lifetime to openly admit to the use of recreational drugs…

if paul mcartney instantly combusted in a whirl of his own bull shit then the world would be an infinatly better place IMO.

I’ve done most drugs, a high proportion of them to excess and out of all of them ketamine is the one I will never touch again. I’ve seen it make some people in my life very ill, both physically and mentally.

    +1000

Ketamine has recently become suprisingly less popular amongst the people in my area. Hopefully this “Ketamine Epidemic” that i’ve heard alot of people speaking about will blow over soon. I have high hopes:weee: Its all getting a bit tedious now.

i have the misfortune to live in barnsley, ket is everywhere, even i did it… but i can’t see why i did now i’ve kicked it. my mate got pissed up and ketty on bonfire night, did something extremely stupid and shattered his heel bone…. and then because of the K he walked 3 miles home on it because he basicly couldn’t feel the pain. he will probably limp for ever. he only just got out of his wheelchair/crutches phase on last friday. ket makes you into a retard, it blinds you to the consequences of your actions, and how your behaviour affects other peeps around you. it just is’nt what i’m looking for in a drug.
