ive started to wind things down for a bit since new year and it is actually quite easy when you properly make the decision to stop doing something. Reckon ill get back on a few things at festies, but that’ll be it. :weee:

I’ve done that with the snow. The last two weeks i could of easily got and done it but refused and the clincher is i was pissed! I’ve said to myself no more and my body is finally agreeing with me, Yay! 😉

once you’ve said no a few times, it makes the next times so much easier. It was never my body that was disagreeing with me more my head going “COKECOKECOKECOKE!” as soon as id had about 2 pints… :you_crazy:

Actually yeah that’s the same for me. I will say one thing though, I don’t get the snow pangs drinking Guinness that i did from lager! 😉

a lot of my mates at the weekend were actually talking about the health problems they have heard about people experiencing and are planning to cut down their own use of K (although I doubt if any of them will stop altogether)

TBH I think it is when it becomes a weekday thing rather than just weekends that people start to fuck up… One big problem in this respect is K doesn’t have a large stimulant effect or big comedown so its initially easy enough to cane it midweek whilst still going to work etc…

    yeah man!
certain individuals, not all, will become “wrong uns” alot easier than others too. its all about your mental strength, although for me personally ive found ketamine to be the hardest drug to keep under control. dont know why this is. ive tried to stop a couple of times and have found it harder than quiting smoking (gone 9 weeks without the cancer sticks now:wink:). that gives an example of how much of a hold it can have on you!

if you can give uo smoking you can give up ket, all you’ve got to do is make the decision. its easy after that.. i found anyway.

Interview with the Shulgins – the link is after the advert at the bottom of the clicked hyperlink.

Listen to Alexander and Ann Shulgin talk about all sort of drugs. AND NAME KETAMIN AS A DRUG THAT IS ADDICTIVE.

Absolute proof from the re-discoverer of MDMA and other weird and wonderfull drugs, most of which you all consume each and every week.

So enjoy the radio show I ripped.

heh k is addictive, no question there. Its not physically addictive in the way coke or smack is, but it certainly causes opioids to be relased in the brain. Its therefore addictive in the way that all things are that make you feel good. Same is true for lifting weights and very hot curries though.

the danger comes from the fact that it can be done anywhere, anywhen. People wont take a trip or amphet on a weeknight. but because k is out of your system so quickly people end up doing it all the time.

Okay so i love a good k trip and these days, the type of music or even the standard of the cd i am listening to whilst sniffin can make a huuge difference to how good my k trip turns out to be. With me Psy/Goa trance is the ultimate, preferably a mixed cd so there is no silence untill the cd has finished. The best cd i ave got has to be High Times – Dj Bim & Alexander Ligowski, this is fucking Mindblowing on k, seriously trippy shit with a very relaxed/spiritual vibe to it.
Have any of you found a cd that is great for listening to whilst experimenting with K ???

heard this one which a cant explain really?? its about a man whos a transvestite and his best friend is the doctor, it has different things in between thats music then this trannie starts talking and tells u his life story??? wish a could find the name of the cd?? if a could just remember everything lol

    selected ambient works

any song from your youth, maybe i’ve just been getting a batch of really nostalgic ket but i find it drags up a lot memories..

    relaxed house music, deep house,
    richie hawtin, jamie jones

and maybe some venetian snares for a bit of a twist

    on thatraaa

I’ve been searching long and hard for good k music and nothing beats Shpongle.. especially this album I’ve uploaded to rapidshare for you:

    RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

Had some amazing kholes to that album.. their other album ‘nothing lasts but nothing is lost’ is also great for k, especially as it all blends togehter into one long track.

Also, I wouldnt be a self promoting whore if I didnt suggest my own psychill album, (AKA ‘the ketamine opera’)

Gabba – the only type of music to twist your K-addled brain to.

I used to love doing a bit of K then mashing up the gabba type tunes – although I have had to leave the decks on at least two occasions cos I was spinning myself out:laugh_at:

yeah i love a bit of gabba after doing alot of k .. has to be dark and inteligent gabba tho .. can’t just be a beat .. needs to be chopped to fuck and sound good .. not just fast and noisy for the sake of it 😉

i find any genre of music good for k holing, one of the best k holes i can remember an oasis song was on ahahahhahaha never thought it’d be a good mix but it was amazing
