Hi folks. Going to Kingston end of March for a few days. Need to find somewhere hardcore where pupils are dilated and there is plenty of trade. Not familiar with these areas but if Kingston doesn’t have much to offer then I guess Croydon is the next best/closest option? We were going to do it properly in Brighton which is very hardcore, but hotels are too expensive there, we missed out, should have booked sooner. Any info would be very much appreciated.

Haha used to live near Kingston, although I was out of the loop then, as far as I know theres no real rave scene there. Try Fabric > fabric nightclub, london

There are only mainstream clubs in Kingston, which are aweful

There’s a small bar/ club called Bacchus round the back of boots that used to be quite good, but I don’t know what it’s like now

Yeah Kingston isn’t really a good area.. it’s mainstream shit and filled with thugs.
I think theres some decent clubs in Brixton but I ain’t sure, ain’t old enough to go to legal venues so you’ll have to wait for someone else to chip in. If you do go Brixton be careful though it’s pretty rough.

Yeah I been to the Academy aswell, saw Jack White last June and The Dead Weather in 2009. It’s not actually to bad, there was just a guy cruising round on a bike with a boombox blasting reggae just smoking a joint and light midnight haha.

i saw jack white at Norwich UEA a few months ago actually which was well good! I highly rate the Academy, i like the venue and they have some pretty decent acts

Yeah I know Kingston is crap but we got a discount to stay there, my friend lives in Kingston, although he doesn’t think too highly of it for going out. I lived there before, crap to go out. Croydon is not ideal either I guess so it’s going to have to be fabric n just party until the trains open. Or maybe we will try soho and then the den and centro if that is still open, although the big night is friday the 29th, and the den was always better on a sat. Might try the bacchus bar, seems like it might be OK.

Loads of shit in brixtion, generally dodgy area tho, so don’t hand about on the street too much after events if I was you.
