Reluctantly selling my hand crafted lab subs. I just don’t get enough use out of them and I think they would prefer to sing in public than sit in a shed gathering dust.

Here’s a link to an ebay listing…

Lab Horn subwoofers (pair) | eBay

… but I grossly overpriced them to try and avoid paying ebay fees (hoping somebody will make me an offer outside of ebay).

Guess I would be happy to accept £800 for the pair.

Do you have any info on the build quality? Eg, who built them and what experience do they have? Any close up pictures of the chambers etc?

I’m sure they are fine, but I’m just asking as there are a fair few dodgy labs out there and if they aren’t solid and sealed then they aren’t much good.

They were built by my own fair hand (with some help from an expert chippy who cut the wood fur us, another friend and my dad).

I would describe the build quality as ‘not professional, but solid and leak-free’.

I can provide build pics if you want to see them (PM me your email address) and I can take some close-ups too (might take a few days – pretty busy at the mo but should be able to do it over the weekend), but I can pretty much describe what you will see – solid build with a few mm ‘pulled in’ on the top pannel.

I can assure you that they sound great (I have a techy friend who assures me that they are up to scratch).

Nice one Clang. Not really asking for myself (although we do need a couple more….just not at the mo!) but I thought it’s something that people might want to know.

For anyone interested, these are worth the £800 for the pair!
