Just been browsing various websites and came across this. Not scaremongering but this has the potential to fuck the earth up if some scientists are to be believed!
Heres more info bout this event http://news.zdnet.co.uk/emergingtech/0,1000000183,39458691,00.htm

Even found a doomsday warning from Nostradamus, I don’t really believe in such warnings but it’s pretty close to the mark and what with all these UFO sightings recently maybe something dark is approaching. :hopeless:
Nostradamus quatrain 9 44:
Leave, leave Geneva every last one of you,
Saturn will be converted from gold to iron,
“Raypoz” will exterminate all who oppose him,
Before the coming the sky will show signs.
We best make this weekend a good one then if the end is nigh:crazy:
Haha innit man! 😉
I spent the night looking into this event and i really think it’s a bad fucking idea. They (the scientists) wanted to start it up last summer but there was a explosion which was the result of flawed mathematics. these fuckers are playing with the lives of everyone on earth and what hope have we got if they can’t even do the fucking maths right!
This is looking to be the biggest and most expensive experiment in human history, god only knows what can go wrong.
Now i don’t really go in for all those conspiracy theories and end of world hysteria but this has me a little worried.
The scientists in charge assure us that nothing can go wrong and that’s it’s infallible. Horseshit if you ask me, this experiement should not go ahead. :hopeless:
Sorry but the scare stories you have read are a load of cobblers. There are far, far more energetic collisions going on in the Earth’s upper atmosphere hundreds of times every day, as cosmic rays dive in and hit the atmosphere. Not to mention in the centre of the Sun which has entirely failed to turn itself into a Black Hole so far.
Nothing’s happened in the last 4 billion years so nothing is going to happen just cos people start doing the same thing in a 26 km wide laboratory.

Yeah man you’re probably right. the more i read about this the less worried i am now. I’m still gonna be battered that day just in case! lol!
dont worry the apocalypse isnt going to happen for another 22years, 6months,1 day and 11 hours.
That’s alrite then! we shall cross that bridge when we come to it!:weee:

Can’t be too careful :laugh_at:
Innit! raaa
I guess it’s the immature part of my brain that always sees Large Hardon Colider when I see the LHC mentioned. Conjures up funny images anyway.
Aaaaaand now everytime i look at it that’s all i see too :laugh_at:

Cliffy, it’s not witchcraft honest mate. What on Earth are you worried about? Particle accelerators have been used for about 80 years. They are a very valid form of scientific enquiry. Hope you not using a CRT screen to read this as that too is a form of particle accelerator.
I ain’t worried bout it now. I actually read up on it properly now. I’m still getting battered tho! raaa
