  • ldv convoy luton van for sale:

    2.5 litre turbo deisel
only 64,500 miles on the clock
3.5 ton (so can drive on any license)
    power steering

currently converted to a live-in vehicle, back shutter opens up to a porch area, then a seperating wall with stable doors and large window.

inside, has bed above the cab, comfy sofa which opens to a double bed, and kitchen unit with oven, hob and sink (oven just needs connecting to a gas bottle and sink isnt yet connected to a water tank but ive got an electric pump to fit with it)

walls are all professionally insulated and panelled, and 12v spot lights are fitted connected to a leisure battery and solar panel on the roof. floor is wood lamenate.

the front wall however could be removed and everything inside easily taken out to make a reliable rig van. has been used as a rig van a few times, even with the wall as the stable door is really large.

the engine runs really well and ive been really pleased with the fuel efficiency. at the moment one of the fuel pipes has split so having that replaced in the next week or two. its mot is due next month, but i am happy to put the van through the mot myself before selling. i think there is about 4/5 months left on the tax.

have been happily living in this for the last year, but selling due to wanting to upgrade to something a bit larger. but this is wicked van for being on the move, festivals and parties

will get pictures up soon as possible

you forgot the most important bit – price 😉

this post is from about 5 years ago.

You might be better off going to Tribal-Living instead and asking there. it is safer than putting your email on the public internet.

The folk there are a bit older (I am one of the youngest) and some are our parents/grandparents age but a lot of them do live in or work on vans and attend festivals; and its not uncommon for these vehicles to be advertised for sale there; often by young couples who are about to become parents and want to (or have to) settle down to raise the child.

The folk there are friendly, approachable and there is a good gender balance; and will also help you select a good vehicle and give advice on whether what you plan to do with it is feasible.
