not good. The “least worst” outcome will be delays and shortages as suppliers get overloaded, and the “worst case” will be the stuff gets made class C or B fairly quickly as people ignore the risks or any “bad news” same as everyone did with ketamine.
It only took about 2 years (perhaps less) from consultation to ket being made class C, and this is a substance used by the NHS and vets so the govt also took into account that making it a higher class would mean the cost of both human and animal medical treatment would rise.
4-MMC has no legit medical use.
Although this will probably mean its re-pressed and sold as “pills”, I expect if this stuff is combined with other amfetamine-type stimulants or worse piperazines that it will become a more toxic combination, leading to deaths, overdoses and more backlash from the NHS and harsher enforcement (as is starting to happen with ket). There is no bright side here.
