Party Vibe

party scene defiantly seems a lot friendlier up north. One of my mates went down to one of the big london squat parties and said there were rumours of people getting stabbed with syringes of ket then followed round till they passed out, then robbed. Fuck.that. 🙁

Parties up north I’m guessing are more friendly as the ones down here have room for improvement… but… that said…

there’s no way I’d say the squats are dodgy, or that you risk getting stabbed etc. You can usually spot the trouble makers when they turn up – simply avoid them. If there’s no reason to chinwag with them, then don’t.

Parties in the smog are usually in the middle of the city and are very assessable for everyone to get to. Unlike parties out in the sticks where a vehicle is required – often something this simple keeps away the trouble makers as they don’t have access to a car. (the arseholes I’ve seen are usually 16 – 19)

So parties in the smog – they’re spot on, although one rig inparticular attracts a dodgy crowd, so come on down, meet us friendly southern fairys and have a good time raaa

I’d have to agree sounds far more likely to me, i’ve never heard anything that dodgy before – sure there can be some fights and a few things go missing but even if your on the edge of an urban area there still seems to be a sense of community amongst the majority and people will usually help out if there are any problems

yeah thinking about it, it does seem pretty random. And surely the person would notice getting stuck with the needle…

First time I went to a free party in london someone came close to stabbing me, it does happen, it is dodgy! plenty of nasty storys around on the net about big london partys.

That said, theres plenty of simular storys about pubs and clubs in any city, so its swings and roundabouts, but bumpkins in my experance are a zillion times safer and more friendly.

I would say my manor specially my garden is more dangerous than London, People mysteriously lose their livers and other high value organs. Nothing to do with me though, It’s like the Bermuda triangle, Fucked up!
