That’s the thing… usually, you can tell a good crew from a bad one by how much attention they’re paying to the welfare of the dancers without having to be reminded by a medical crew. If the crews play their part right there’s really no need to employ anyone to look out for the welfare of others. Also, I don’t think I’d want to be at a party where people were thinking, “It’s so and so’s job to look after the lost-its, so I’ll just get wasted and ignore people who need help if I see them”. That’s the same apathetic & detached behaviour that parties are meant to offer an alternative to… in my humble opinion anyway!
