It depends. Under UK law it has always been legal for a teenager to enter licensed premises from age 14, but not buy alcohol there.

Strict age limits for night time events are in fact voluntary and normally only imposed when there has been issues with teenagers causing risks to themselves and others (the clause about protecting children from harm in the Licensing Act).

I don’t know how this London crew rolls but at legal EA events I’ve been to they only ask for ID at the bar and that is comparatively rare, and certainly the 16-18 age group is present there in some number. if they were overly strict they’d end up barring some of their own crew members :laugh_at:

Don’t go on your own either. Find a group to go with. If you are on your own don’t take anything of high value with you and also don’t get too fucked up on anything. You don’t want to zone out and be easy pickings for someone.

lololololol im not one of those people,
i am bringing a bunch of friends to try the “free party scene”
but i don’t know if we will like it cause we’re used to raves with just dubstep and drum and bass
i never been to anywhere with acid house, acid, techno, i don’t even know if im getting the genre names right.. lol

If you’re used to only dub step and drum and bass raves you’ll probably hate it at this rave cos every one will be loved up here and you’re probably used to people beating each other up for fun. :laugh_at:
