That said it must surely be against EU human rights for patients to have their scripts restricted because a Doctor is caught for diversion…. but if 100 per month are not stopping a patients genuine pain (and not being used to feed an addiction) perhaps a stronger painkiller should be prescribed under supervision. (This can in some regions mean a relatively young healthy patient can end up being admitted as an in-patient to a residential care home as much to prevent diversion although they do get the physiotherapy and other treatment they may need in there).
