heya i’m new to the site. i’ve moved down to nottingham for uni, posting here because it’s the closest related thread i could find without spending 5 minutes searching :p. at home further up north i knew a good free party scene but i’m absolutely lost down here. i wouldn’t mind meeting some people and getting myself to anything decent down here! is there anything happening pretty close to notts city centre generally? i’m not so interested in free nights in clubs etc, i’m looking for that “where in a muddy field with a fuck off soundsystem and it’s the best night of my life” feel haha! though maybe not a field considering it’s baltic out this time of year!

Yeah, loads going on just over the pennines! …or at leas there will be once it get’s a little warmer!

Southcavers post with some club nights to follow would be a very good please to meet the right kind of people, and get the right kind of phone numbers that you will want for summer 🙂

Yeah I’m in Sheffield – seriously hungry for some parties but I can’t seem to get hold of any!! Found a couple of sound systems on the internet but can’t catch on to when/where their events are 🙁

Hi all,

Nice to see that some people fight to keep the embers smouldering on these forums, good on you.

It’s been a dull winter! I’m ready for a free party. Shame SF, NTA, Soitiz and the multitude of opportunists responsible for the parties around here during the noughties are finished or well hidden. I’m ultimately looking for parties between Manchester and Sheffield. If anyone could point me in a good looking direction I will set off with a hop and a skip!

We’ve got something in the pipeline too, but not till late summer.
