Well i’d say it’s a little more than just tolerated considering how much the economy thrives off the stuff in Amsterdam with the coffee shops. It’s like 35% of tourists go to coffee shops to smoke weed!:D
I believe the actual law is anyone over the age of 18 can purchase up to 5 grams per day from the shops. Over 5 grams is illegal. It’s also illegal to purchase cannabis on the street, it’s only permitted in the coffee shops.
