ah yes needlepoint, all i can guess is that if you got blotters with Jerry Garcia on them you had needle point… as rare as fluff is during a drought needle point is like the holy grail except made out of diamonds or something.
got amber geltabs once but lost them and found them like a year later and they had no psychoactive effects 🙁 probably where my karma got screwed up casue i’d been eating/selling lots of lavander then got fluff on two ocassions then went back to candyflipping on lavander and went mental, it makes sense that if i’d eaten the amber it would have become the color of my energy and going back to lavander threw me for a loop. now i’m all white light yoga tho.
the fluff i got was on better paper than what other stuff would come on and i got liquid family that was possibly ‘wash’ mentioned in the link(people HIGH up in the dead heirarchy sold it to my people after the 2009 Dead tour and no one got alot even though these guys had the $$$ for alot). fluff is only around widely when the remaining members of the grateful dead are touring under the monikor “The Dead” when they are touring as “Furthur” or in their seperate bands (Bob Weir and Ratdog & Phill Lesh and Friends) there will be silver around but probs no fluff.
edit: i’m not big on pickard, he got himself in with someone who grassed him up, i don’t want him making our Lucy.
look up Richard Kemp… big cook in wales way back when. read acid dreams if you havn’t.
Is that what the documetary, Operation Julie was about? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hna4a_NjQ4k
As for Pickard, he was doing really well until he became entangled with Gordon Todd Skinner, who fucked over and rolled on everyone he possibly could. I’d have no problem with him living his last days on earth locked up but Pickards biggest mistake was getting involved with Skinner.
I wish I had access to the stuff you can get your hands on, you lucky so and so.

yep thats op julie.
lie down with dogs get up with fleas thats what happened to pickard. if you look up neurosoup on youtube theres a girl who was in with their crew and she has alot of intresting videos on a ton of subjects all drug related.
TBH its not me its the Dead, anyone in with the Dead can get as much LSD as they could ever imagine. i’m excited that the Dead might tour next year for their 50th.

That bitch from neurosoup, I don’t trust one bit. She was undoubtedly in deep with Skinner when he Finally got to meet Pickard and watching some of her neurosoup vids, she obviously has a good knowledge about many things related to drug use etc. but she strikes me as manipulative and also a willing participant in the pschedelic torture of her boyfriend at the hands of skinner.
Decent interview with her is here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7qliVpGEk0 but seriously, at best, I find her accounts of the Pickard situation less than credible.
Saying that, you obviously have much more knowledge on this subject that I do so I would be grateful for any and all info you can provide one way or the other.

i just ment some of her drug accounts are pretty good, like her talking about MDMA and the like, havn’t passed judgement on her character, but psychedelic tourture sounds fucked up. i’m sure she only knew part of the pie with pickard and even then she probably doesn’t know that much, skinner and pickard wern’t even more than business associates.
nah i don’t know much more than you about the subject just blessed to see some level of the family.
as far as pickard my guess is that he was quasi-family(had to learn to cook from someone) but got careless when he went independent and thats why he’s in federal prison on a conspiracy conviction. Even then he was only producing lavander for commerical markets and just a little bit of needle point.
If the next generation of the family can go multinational we could see silver everywhere… problem is alot of people my age who are in with the family as their lifestyle are pretty fucked up and just good at selling drugs and staying off the police radar. Of course I havn’t been to the West Coast and tried to integrate myself into the Bay Area scene where you would find intellegent deadheads, so i’m speaking on conjecture that if you combine the ecohippies and trustifarians in central america with proper cooks on the west coast you could see a resurgence in LSD because currently costa rica seems to be the place to source large amounts of ergot and the dry parts of northern california the place to synth it.
I doubt there is anyone under 50 who is a true cook though. They might just choose to die out and leave us with nothing. personally i think they are more into the Grateful Dead than LSD and when all the original members of the dead die the family will go with them.
edit: space cadeted the fuck out some important stuff to ad: Pickard wasn’t near as big as they make him out to be, he had about 20,000,000 hits(200 grams). The really over blown figures are because the Feds weighed his glassware and all his reagents and stuff and added it together to get their “total” for the bust. Pickard was a big player no doubt and he wasn’t in the family and after Jerry Garcia died in 1995 there was really no motivation for either the dead to tour or for the family to distribute LSD, pickard tried to step in and fill the void and we saw how that worked out. The remaining members toured as “the other ones” for a while and nobody was into it so the fans didn’t mobilize for tour like they used to. they changed their name to the dead in 2003 and this was when they picked up steam again and you saw some uptick in the LSD market.
also the only reason they toured in 2009 as “the Dead” was becasue warren haynes agreed to be the guitarist, he’s the only guy people felt was on par with jerry.

Totally possible and I can’t argue with you there mate. It has been said that the “family cooks” will pass on their knowledge and experience to people they consider pure in mind and body, just to keep the production continuing.
Also I have read that cultivating ergot is both very difficult and potentially dangerous. The most common precursor is ergotamine tartrate, which, while being closely monitored by at least the US govt. is probably far safer than trying to cultivate the ergot itself. ERgotamine tartrate does have a legitimate medical use, which I can’t recall off the top of my head but thatmeans there are legitimate US producers of the tartrate and which provides a much safer and simpler way of getting one of the precursors than actually trying to cultivate ergot itself and then having to process what you have managed to cultivate themselves.

oh i ment getting ergotamine tartrate from a dodgy chem company in costa rica.. where are these family cooks gonna find all these pure mind and body kids that have 140 iq’s and won’t wig out after getting thumb-printed? there is a narrow market of people who are worthy to keep the tradition going. I’ve ran into my fair share of old deadheads and they were in it for the music and not the LSD, the LSD just made the music alot cooler. When the music goes LSD won’t disappear completely but the production paradigm may change.
all the members of the band are old, they are aged 66-74 right now, so i mean how many more good tours do they have in them? The tour is the mechanism by which the LSD gets distrubuted still or from friendships of past tours. Even Phish is in no way shape or form in a position to take over the tour game, nobody is and the old heads look down on everyone touring in the psych rock genre except for phish, but they recognize that phish is more mellow and tons of hits aren’t changing hands in the parking lot like with the dead.
of course i could be off on my age guesses about the cooks within the family and they could have already picked up some apprentices who have 50 years of good living ahead of them. its all just gueses. but i stand by my assertation that they are Deadheads first and LSD heads second.
heres the paste from my edit from after you quoted my last post: (it brings the discussion back to pickard a bit)

Yeah I read the figures given by the DEA or whichever departmant of fun wreckers, that they supplied in court and they were ridiculous amounts based on some of the chemicals having trace amounts of something even marginally related to LSD maufacture and the total amount of what the precursors they had could have produced was a TINY FRACTION of what the agents testified to in court.
Heres some info on what was said in court:biggest LSD bust in history – The Pub – Shroomery Message Board
It went from at least 40kg of lsd to around 200g of LSD, but when did that ever stop the US govt saying whatever it wants to get a conviction, even though, the info they based it on was, at best, incorrect and at worst, pure bullshit. He’d have probably got a fairer trail with more competent defense council if he’d been imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay

yeah it was all lies but 200g of LSD is still conspiracy. i wonder what the fuck happened to petaluma al.

Yeah, apart from hearing his name once or twice I don’t ever remember reading anything more specific on who he was.

By my reckoning, with 100ug being a strong but average dose, that’s 10,000 doese per G, multiplied by 200g is around 2 million doses
Bit more info into the bullshit, sorry testimony given by whichever clown was designated to be in court to pull numbers out of his are.
:The numbers touted by the government in its big LSD bust just don’t add up.

That’s like saying it’s nice to breathe air, lol.
I haven’t tried the drug, so I can’t really be sure about it. But as far as my knowledge goes, it all depends on the mental state of the person.
Drugs like LSD act as a stimulator for the present mood state of the user, if am not mistaken.
So I suppose it all depends on the ‘trip’ the person takes.
