The MAOIs are infamous for their numerous drug interactions. Unless the interaction is desired, any drug that falls within the following classifications should be avoided:

Such substances include:

  - Amphetamines: Amphetamine, MDMA (“Ecstasy”), Methamphetamine, etc.
- Tryptamines: DMT, Psilocin/Psilocybin (“Magic Mushrooms”), etc.
  - Lysergamides: Ergolines/LSA, LSD (“Acid”), etc.
- Serotonin, Norepinephrine, and/or Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitors:
  - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs): Citalopram, Dapoxetine, Escitalopram, Fluoxetine, Fluvoxamine, Paroxetine, Sertraline.
  - Serotonin-Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors (SNRIs): Desvenlafaxine, Duloxetine, Milnacipran, Venlafaxine.
  - Norepinephrine-Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitors (NDRIs): Amineptine, Bupropion, Methylphenidate, Nomifensine.
  - Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors (NRIs): Atomoxetine, Mazindol, Reboxetine.
  - Tricyclic Antidepressants (TCAs): Amitriptyline, Butriptyline, Clomipramine, Desipramine, Dosulepin, Doxepin, Imipramine, Lofepramine, Nortriptyline, Protriptyline, Trimipramine.
  - Tetracyclic Antidepressants (TeCAs): Amoxapine, Maprotiline.
  - Phenylpiperidine derivative Opioids: Meperidine/Pethidine, Tramadol, Methadone, Fentanyl, Dextropropoxyphene.
  - Others: Brompheniramine, Chlorpheniramine, Cocaine, Cyclobenzaprine, Dextromethorphan (DXM), Ketamine, MDPV, Nefazodone, Phencyclidine (PCP), Pheniramine, Propoxyphene, Sibutramine, Trazodone.
- Serotonin, Norepinephrine, and/or Dopamine Releasers: 4-Methylaminorex (4-MAR), Amphetamine, Benzphetamine, Cathine, Cathinone, Diethylcathinone, Ephedrine, Levmetamfetamine, Lisdexamfetamine, MDMA (“Ecstasy”), Methamphetamine, Pemoline, Phendimetrazine, Phenethylamine (PEA), Phentermine, Propylhexedrine, Pseudoephedrine, Phenylephrine, Tyramine.
- Serotonin, Norepinephrine, and/or Dopamine Supplemental Precursors: 5-HTP, L-DOPA, L-Phenylalanine, L-Tryptophan, L-Tyrosine.
- Certain Other Supplements: Hypericum perforatum (“St John’s Wort”), Inositol, Rhodiola rosea, S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine (SAMe), L-Theanine.
- Other Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors.
It would be wise to contact a physician or pharmacist before taking any drug while on an MAOI.

theres MAOI depressents which are quite dangerous to mix with illegal drugs for serotonin syndrome and SSRI’s which arent too dangerous in comparison.

as for the old cid it’s just about who u know. most people cannot handle it or the scare stories like ‘FLASHBACKS’ and stuff like that are too much for them so it’s not too popular and it can be a good money earner but in comparison to addictive class As it’s pretty shit.

I’m not sure, I wouldn’t say there’s a shortage of everything… Just a shortage of everything with quality these days. 😛

im english but been in cape town for a while. theres a huge hippie and psy-trance culture here and good quality acid is in abundance. i recommend coming on holiday here during the english winter when the weather is hot and the outdour trance party scene is in full swing. it has changed my life 😀

sorry a bit off topic lol but if u like your acid u should defo think of a cape town holiday cause the whole psychadelic scene here is really alive and kicking. sorry im a bit high 😛 first post tho woo hoo! peace!

hi josh, neither did i until id been here a couple of months, but ive been really impressed. the parties here are all legal and always in amazingly beautiful locations within 100 miles or so of cape town. they range from small 500 people 24 hr parties to full on 4-day’ers with a few thousand peeps and are on pretty much every weekend from december thru to start of may.

also i usually hate taking lsd or shrooms in busy noisy environments it can make me paranoid, but here its totally different cause so many people are on the same level 🙂

is there somewhere on this site where i can post pics?
