The criminal status has a huge impact. Ive only ever got parniod off two things, police and my mum. Police i cant really do shit about, however my mum i manged to do something about.
When i was younger i used to hide the fact i was stoned and if i came home stoned my mum would say how disapointed she was etc and that i was a bad son :/. As you can guess going home after smoking used to scare me silly even if i smelt of weed. One day i decided to sit down with her made her read up on the internet about drugs in general (i was shocked at how little she knew and what she thought about drugs). I then explained that weed doesnt make me a day person and i dont smoke when i have things to do. Ever since then she has had no problem at all, as long as it doesnt have large effect on my life. Since then we have had alot better realtionship and i smoke far less weed than i once did. I barely even smoke really as i enjoy alot more things more.
Even my mum who has never been drunk or taken drugs beleaves now that the criminal status is aload of bollocks. Long story short tho paranoia is hughly effected by the criminal status.
