I just purchased a McGregor MA 1000 Amplifier. Second hand, comes with flight case and an x-over is mentioned briefly but there isn’t any detail so i dont think there is one…
Is this a good buy? (I got it for £142 total)

theyre ok… theyre not that common but they do the job just dont run it too hard on the low end.

shouldve bought my berry ep2500 for that price 😉

Yeah it’s that one daft.
I was gonna run subs from it, but from the sounds of it that wouldnt be a great idea…
I could have it the other way round and run top on the McGregor and run bass on this old QSC amp I have at 350W per channel, you reckon that would be better?

qsc amps are quite solid.

however depending on how much you want to run.. 350 isnt that much
