Hey guys,

Me and some of my buddies were gonna head down to a Meshuggah concert and drop some MD. I wanted to ask what you thought about the idea of taking MD at a heavy metal concert. Does anyone here ever roll and listen to metal or have any experiences/ideas of how the two would combine?

I’m not so much worried about enjoying myself, but do you think my friends would be as sure to have a good time as they would at a rave? (Bearing in mind that not all of them are crazy into this band/genre).

The people at these gigs are generally pretty sound, and I’m sure the vibes’d be fantastic… But I do wonder

Surely moshing and crowd surfing could be pretty awesome?

And a final query – what if I enjoyed myself too much? – Like this is a serious question… I really love this band – what if I just had a heart attack and died or something? Is that even possible!?

firstly this post should have cleared (we get some folk posing as others to plug gigs/music which is why it initially got delayed). I know older folk who take this stuff and listen to metal (but not sure if they still go to concerts). In my area of England there is some sort of moshing (relatively gentle TBH) at raves!

if you don’t take way too much and are otherwise in good health you are unlikely to have a heart attack. bear in mind though that folk of all ages get “overexcited” at concerts even sober and can suffer health problems including heart problems so large concerts usually have on site medical teams as part of the licensing conditions, and these medics aren’t stupid and know that some people consume drugs at music events. So you should be relatively safe anyway. There’s probably more risk in travelling to your concert than actually attending it…

naa fella, don’t go to gigs anymore, I can’t be trusted. The last gig I went to was my brothers band, I got smashed and punched there drummer in the face for some reason. Since then I’ve not been allowed to go……

na been to one after smoking a little crack, which was really funny, cause it turned out the band playing were my friends band. Also been to a metal gig on 2C-I & 2C-E……not good. But MD is really my cup of tea, I like proper trippy stuff; lsd, dmt ect
