I would say that korno’s advice is pretty much the spot on, and description of how it is nowadays, but depending on your area prices can range. For example I just picked up a pretty nice, spot on 1g, good crystal sizes for £30, and I’m in the South East. I don’t know the average prices for any other places really, but anything over £40 is pretty bad (in my opinion) and I advise you to turn it down, as it’s most likely a rip off. I’d also say that, if you can, get the dealer to weigh it out in front of you (some actually do this, it’s great :p) or if you have scales weigh it before you do any, so as to know if you want to go back to the same guy again, if he’s doing bags under what he claims, I wouldn’t go back.
Also, be careful what you buy. Recently a lot of MD from around my area has had speed and MDA in it. Luckily, I know a good bloke who always gives me good stuff. So, make sure you inspect the bag and what it looks like if you buy MDMA before you hand over the money. If it’s white, off white or slightly darker (a slight tinge of brown, maybe slightly black), it should be OK and give you a pretty nice buzz (but that is never for certain!). If it’s not that, be cautious before you go sniffing line after line, and if you have a test kit, always test it first.
Edit: Note, the comedowns aren’t really too vicious, but the day after your jaw may feel a little tense and you might be a bit dazed and confused, depending upon how much you do. I’d say if you’ve done pills before you should be fine, just don’t forget to keep hydrated when you’re on it! A pint per hour is roughly the standard measurements of how much water you should drink when you’re on it, a little less won’t kill you though. Careful not to mix alcohol and MD though, as personally I find it kills the high and has actually made me throw up before.
