I dont see the point in moving people moving to mdma crystals. Firstly it is not hard to find the melting point of pure MDMA and cut it with a different chemical.
Secondly MDMA powder is more likely to be made by a garage chemist who hasnt got no facilitys to press pills anyway. According to a link on Erowid (sorry about no direct quote) in a study of british pills, a pill contained on average 134mg of MDMA per pill. If you are buying MDMA powder for say £50 a gram for 1000mg, the potency is proberly nowhere near 100% pure(pure amount could be 750mg+ depending on source). Another thing is say you brought £50 worth of pills 4 for £10, then you would have 20 pills. 20 x 134mg = 2680mg of mdma. This is obviously a text book example but it is clearly obvious you are going to get way more mdma if you get genuine pills. Well pressed pills are generally the better ones as a rule of thumb + look for crystals inside.
Most people think pills are dirty however most pills are from the Netherlands and Russia, the chemicals are normally sourced from western Europe and Russia. Last year I saw an article on Ananova news stating russian scientists had been arrested for MDMA based pill production, later they were found to be not guilty due to the fact that they had been employed by gangsters to make what they thought was a pill to cure the flu.
I reckon if your gonna take MDMA crystals you have more money than sense and until it comes down to £25 A gram I will predominantly take pills. How do you know the puriety of crystals? the damn things seem to vary in colour from wrap to wrap……….All the pills I have done in the last few years have been strong.
The pill prices in here are based on what I have been buying for personal consumption during may 2004 in the southwest. I think it is healthy to post prices otherwise people get accused of trafficing drugs worth loads of money, and money is the only element the public/courts/police can relate to.
i love will pills til the day i die but these days, esp this year, i find they’ve been pretty rubbish.
mdma powder is hard to get hold of though mostly and it’s hassle carrying it when clubbing, too easy to drop it or muck the wrap up especially when you’re a bit mashed.
bring on the mdma capsules, they’re the best but i haven’t managed to get hold of any for a very long time.
MDMA Capsules – make em yourself!!
If you can get hold of what you regard as good MDMA crystals or powder then iy is very easy to make up some capsules…….
Buy your MDMA and some Beachams Cold & Flu capsules (or equivelant) then empty out capsule and replace with contents of choice!!
No more worrying about your wrap getting wet or fucked!
Peace,
Leaf
wicked idea. only hacked off i didn’t think of it first!! cheers 🙂
breakzhead, i know that crystal can be cut quite easily, but as a rule of thumb, if I divide a gram by 8 or 10, and everyone is very high, and it cost me around £30 (or half that for a few G), the quality and value are excellent.
So many pressings of pills start out in the market place fine, and rapidly deteriorate as the makers try and sell off the byproducts and lab error products to recoup some of their costs/make more profit using the good name of the logo.
I used to work in import/export around mainland europe and whenever I was buying a large quantity aimed at the masses, although always good quality, I would invariably be offered a handful of superior gear for my own use. Some party goers may be lucky enough to pick up some really good strong little ones, but the odds are against you.
In the late 60’s 90% of the world’s LSD was made in wales by a single close team. Two scientists made the compound, while one other was left to dose it onto blotters. After they were all busted it transpired that while the producers had wanted to give everyone a good trip, the tabletter had been halving the dose and making a packet for himself. Don’t know what the moral of this tale is; I’ll leave that up to you.
There is no easy way to know what you are ingesting, but if you buy a few G of crystal I believe it is much easier to determine purity. Testing pills will only give an idea of MDMA content, but no indication of other byproducts. When testing crystal it is far easier compare test results with weight tested, giving a more accurate indication.
I live in Holland and it’s really easy to get drugs here. You can get shrooms and truffle’s in “smart-shops” (smart-drugs-supermarket)! Only ket and acid are a little harder to get. I think speed is getting really trendy here. cocaïn is also frequantly used but it’s really expensive… But i think X is the most popular drugs in Holland at the moment. And pot ofcourse (Holland=Amsterdam=Marijuana)…

Operation Julie – The best acid ever?
The late 1970s saw Operation Julie, which netted some 1.5kg of LSD, enough for 7.5 million 1970s doses of the drug, or up to 20-30 million doses at today”s levels. These were small tablets or “microdots” of high purity and potency, produced in a remote farmhouse in Wales. The “conspirators” were arrested and jailed in 1978 following an intensive police surveillance operation led by Dick Lee, who along with undecover officers, subsequently resigned from the police. Although presented as a great success, the operation started almost by accident:
The Brotherhood of Eternal Love, one of the groups formed by Leary and funded by Bill Hitchcock, a millionaire property dealer, in the wake of the prohibition of LSD in the USA in 1965, was disbanded following a police bust. One of the members, Ron Stark, flew to London and met Richard Kemp, a Cambridge chemistry student. Stark provided 7.4 kioos of ergotamine tartrate, a precursor for LSD synthesis, from which Kemp made 1.7 kilos of LSD, using a process known as the “wrinkle” which allowed production of 99.7% pure acid. This was sufficient to make 8.5 million doses of 200µg each.
In 1974, Gerald Thomas, a cannabis smuggler earlier thrown out of the group for unreliability, was arrested in Canada and gave the names of Kemp, Christine Bott, and Henry Todd as being involved with “the biggest acid lab in the world”. Kemp and Bott moved to Wales where they set up a lab in a remote farmhouse, whereas Todd and Andrew Munro, an inorganic chemist, set up shop in a basement in Seymour Road, London producing inferior quality LSD in 100µg black microdots. Kemp”s bad luck started when his Range Rover was involved in a fatal accident, and was impounded by police. By chance, Dick Lee was visiting the area, noticed the owner of the vehicle, and searched in finding a note with reference to hydrazine hydrate, a chemical used in LSD synthesis. From that point on Kemp and the cottage were put under surveillance.
The two labs, operating independently but stated to be part of the same conspiracy, were raided on 26th March 1977. The welsh operation had already shut down, and undercover officers had missed seeing Bott burying the equipment in the garden. Even so, there was little hard evidence when the defendants were arrested, most coming from confessions. The 17 defendants pleaded guilty at Bristol Crown Court and were sentenced to a total of 130years imprisonment, with Kemp and Todd each receiving 13 years. The author, David Solomon (Marijuana Papers) received 10 years for providing raw materials, Munro received 10 years, and Bott 9 years.
Although there were persistent rumours that the group had stashed away several million doses, none reappeared years later following the release of the main protagonists. Following Julie, the price of LSD rose sharply, from around 50p to over £1 per tablet. By this time, LSD had fallen out of fashion, the preferred drug among youth culture in the late 1970s being alcohol. Punks regarded LSD and cannabis as drugs of the unfashionable and wimpish hippies, their preferred drugs being “sulphate” (amphetamine) and Special Brew.

Umm, doses of LSD would have to kept at roughly the same temperature of liquid nitrogen, or it would deteriorate and be useless be the time they were released. I understand some of the main ingredients were stashed.

shortly after one of the group was released, large numbers of weak blotters with no print or picture did start to appear in certain squats in certain towns. Users needed to take 2 for a decent trip. but we can’t really discuss this in any detail. best consigned to history.
Fair points. On a tangent I’ve read the same two arguments used about the coalition’s claims of chemical weapons in Iraq in that they had a limited shelf life and are hard to keep, also that they were more like to find their way out of the country in case of an invasion than otherwise!
Getting back on topic that book on Operation Julie’s funny, the police caught those labs by accident…
