I was a veggie for 16 years, now I eat meat. Honestly, I don’t know what meat eaters make such a fuss about, meat is basically flavourless, it’s all the wonderful things that go on it that taste so good. Fish is a bit more specific, but really, being raised a veggie has taught me how to make things so tasty that they make you melt without the need for meat.

vegetarians do tend to cook nicer food, you don’t really have to try with meat because it has so much flavour you just bung on some meat and dont bother so much with sauces etc, being veggie forces you to learn how.
Having said that, take all that cooking knowledge and combine it with meat and you get something *even* tastier, it’s just that most people don’t bother.

Didn’t a well known football club recently ban meat selling from their club? they went Veggie only, can’t remember who they are though 😉
The owner of Forest green rovers banned red meat at the club, first the players then what was served to staff and fans, but they still serve chicken and fish, he owns ecotricity, how eco it is i dont know but he seems like he did what he believes as oppossed to a publicity stunt

If you start at one day a week, have a veggie lunch one day a breakfast another and so on untill you have built up a choice, then have breakfast, lunch and dinner on the sameday and after awhile you’ll see theres alot nicer things to eat than meat, also if you were onto 2-3 days a week by this time next year it might let you look at what your really eating

You can keep it, theres no way you think about what your eating when you put that sausage sarnie in your mouth. Have a look at what your eating
yeah, the roasted, dead carcass of a pig (probably some very interesting parts of a pig, mind) and tbh.. i think it tastes great. i don’t care that jamie oliver says nuggets are made from chicken eyeballs, i’ll eat them because they are DAMN TASTY.
you can keep your risotto, thankyouverymuch.
Im saying that all you stand against is what you are, and you cant see it!
