  • you can easily cut crystal mephe btw.

im with tom on this one

i’ve done E’s,coke, ket for year’s but found none of them are as addictive mephedrone

i was taking it for months . during the week and on the weekend got a load in before the ban and finished the last of it off at glasto

as for long term effect’s not really had any but i have friend’s that have and they are all linked to hitting it to hard for to long like muos said if you overdo anything it will fook you up

    just my 2p worth

It’s been almost 2 year since mephedrone has come out. I’ve started taking not too much but having a good sesh every once in a while, like every weekend if everyone has the money for it. The mephedrone around my area is super power shit im telling you now, pure mkat in the bag but quite shardy. After crushing it’s MINT! I’ve only had it 3 times and i enjoy it and im just doing every so often. I take cannabis too. TIP: Mephedrone comedown feels like shit, but if you smoke weed when your on comedown it brings you to normal. Mainly what you want for when your on mkat is, chewing gum (60 piece tubs would be nice), tissue (after having a daddy line), lipsill (because you lick your lips alot, this comes in handy), if your having a good sesh one night try and have a good filling meal before hand because if not the comedown can get worse because you feel so hungry. I’m telling you now though the people around my area are on mkat like a car bonet, mostly teenagers people who i know.

meph does my head in. dont get me wrong, it blew my mind the first time i tried it but mdma pisses all over it. methylone is also superior imo. when i have meph i tend to go off the rails i guess which is probably why i end up feeling sketchy as hell! fuck that shit.

short term effects, pleasent! long term nasty 😛

I realise how old this thread is, however about 2 years ago i was taking it for about 6 months without a break and now i suffer with; agoraphobia, anxiety and depression as well as a few heart problems.

I wouldn’t dare touch the stuff nowdays becuase of how much stuff it’s cut with but i believe this is due to the amount i was taking. Whist i was on them it got me down to about 5 and a half stone and i then deleloped bulimia. Now i’ve got back to a normal-ish weight and i have horrible strech marks on my leg.

For the first 6 months of coming off methadrone I also had daytime hallucinations, night terrors and sleep paralysis (also known as old-hag syndrome).

This drug really wasn’t worth all the hassle it’s caused me.

have you actually had the heart problems confirmed by specialists (such as at Papworth or Basildon and Thurrock?) The reason I ask this is that if this substance genuinely can cause these problems in a young person it makes it much more dangerous than the MDMA and amfetamines it was substituting for – also I know one young girl who didn’t get much further than age 19 due to taking stimulants whilst having a pre-existing heart condition (and this was many years ago during the days of “good quality pills”), so we need to talk openly about stuff like this…

My doctor told me i had an irregular heartbeat and my drug counciler told me that it’s not uncommon for my heart to be acting differently, they had to monitor it for a while and i can’t take things like energy drinks or coffee without it over stimulating my heart beat and causing me some pain this could also be due to the bulimia though becuase that can mess with your heart. I’m extreamly lucky be alive after it all and i have to consistantly see doctors nowdays, unfortunatley a few people i know from my area did die from taking the drug and one of my friend has had permenant purple elbows. I think it’s deffinatley a drug taken amoung young people drug and alchole service who work with people under 19 say compared to the adult drug service it’s getting mainly school ages children taking it.

what is a normal weight for you?

To have so many people in your close group effected so badly from this drug (and even a few die!) makes me think of one of three things. Although what your saying could happen to anyone in an isolated case, the fact that it seams common amongst you and your drug taking group would suggest that either A) it’s dodgy gear, B) you lot are taking way too much, or C) you are taking loads of stuff all together and generally being too much of a bunch of mash heads. There is a 4th option as I think of it, that all of you are just very unlucky.

As GL says, problems like this are a real risk, but if it’s not just you having these problems out of your group (and if it was just you, then I’d say you was just unlucky or did too much for you own body/mind) then there may be other factors involved.

I’ve heard of these problems before many times with regarding Mephe but it’s normally just the odd one out of a group (when you do hear about it with relatively sensible use), unless they all have been doing ALOT (and possibly mixing substances on top).

I think the real issue here (and correct me if I’m wrong) is the highly addictive nature of Mephe which makes people have the compulsion to take amounts that can easily damage their health. It is after all an analogue of meth-amphetamine iirc (or at least very very closely related to it, so much so that you’ll test positive for Meth-Amphetamine on a drug test that looks for it after taking Mephedrone).

I only live about 10 miles away from the Suffolk/Essex border and my experience of younger people native to this area is they are either full on mash heads from their early teens (and often burn out or give up quicker than those in London) or they are very socially conservative, anti-drugs and/or strongly involved with their faith groups (and even many of the new age pagan/hippy types are not pro-drugs even if they support decriminalisation). it tends here to be one extreme or the other TBH..

This region may also be better at unearthing cardiac problems amongst the young due to having both Papworth and Basldon and Thurrock University Hospitals in the same area – however I suspect that the NHS and HM Coroner still often record cause of death of young people as myocardial infarction (heart attack) without divulging “non dependent use of drugs” and/or in such as way as to avoid a formal Inquest to which the Press and public would have full access to, as there is already enough publicity about the potential risks of taking drugs. This is fair enough IMO as it will result in the remaining family members also being judged by the local community as well as the trauma of having to bury their child. Certainly I think far more people here have died from the use of drugs than is actually reported.

However nowadays NHS do tend to notify the National Treatment Authority with anonymised data which is why the overdose statistics don’t always seem to be consistent.

BTW whilst Poppy may not want to divulge her actual weight for a variety of reasons the normal weight for a young female in this area is about 50-80 kilos depending on their height. 5.5 stones is around 35 kilos and considerably underweight. I was brought up that you never asked a lady her weight, age or whether she was pregnant (unless in the last case there was a chance that you might be the dad 😉 )

i’ll even go through a girls bag in front of them to be nosey… YEAH breaking the norm

incidentally both boys and girls tend to weigh more than in London or SE England anyway, as people here like their food and beer (fair enough in a rural area near the coast). I gained a considerable amount of weight since moving here (equivalent to the weight of a medium size European badger) and had to actually go on a diet as I was overweight for my height. This dude I know can eat fuckloads even when on stimulants (and clearly buzzed up). he is a big chap though..
