Yeah completely agree with you, i said it could lead to getting insomnia, we went to a party where he drove and they were doing lines of mdma on the drive home with no sleep for 3 days, and i can see they are tripping out from sleep deprivation. after that night i’ve found it hard to trust drivers who get fucked and drive home with passengers i just couldn’t take the risk ever. we have had a friend die in a car crash coming back from a free party, would of thought it would of made an impact to future actions. oh well i learn from mine and other peoples mistakes.
I decided to start learning to drive again at a fairly late stage in life (after a false start in my teens/20s). Recently I have reached the stage where I feel confident enough on fast dual carriageways for my private practice.
Today when looking for a slip road I could see how easy it would be to make a mistake and go into the back of a parked lorry in a layby (having mistaken the layby for a slip road). (no, I didn’t turn into the layby, as I was of course alert and sober). But some girl in EA who had been up all night taking drugs and was sleep deprived did just that, killed one of her friends and then tried to tell the feds she was not driving and also had this other girls driving license in her car which didn’t look good at all, she basically went from hospital bed to Court to prison.
