I was at a New Years party this weekend and someone came up to me saying, “Jesus Christ, dude, that MSP [he didn’t know the name of it, though I told him several times that it was MXE] that you gave my friend was something serious.” I remembered the guy I sold it to, he was trying to act as though it weren’t effecting him. “An hour after we left, he was lying down at my house, asking me ‘where am I? What happened? Did I take something tonight?’ Kudos, man. It takes a lot to get my friends.” In my profession, those kind of encounters are better than the money; having someone tell me I’ve done my job, and so has the drug. But then he goes on to say, “You have any more? I want to sniff 2 grams of that stuff, see what happens.”
Red flag. I spent an hour trying to convince him of the dangers of even over 100mg of this stuff, how some people even split 50mg doses in half, and how volatile it could be. It took me all of that hour to get him to understand how little you need. And I couldn’t, in all good conscience, let even a shred of doubt exist as to his knowledge of proper dosage.
So be careful, guys. People are stupid. That’s a constant. Take the time to educate people on what they’re ingesting BEFORE they take it, even if you aren’t supplying, even if you don’t know them. The reason this stigma about drugs continues is because of the ignorance not only outside the scene, but especially inside.
