worse still is the “nag screen” is connected to a lagged/overloaded server (at least in UK) so any current Win 7 machine is delayed on startup.
MS don’t even seem to have taken on board the facts many users would take advantage of the upgrade if there was some proof Win 10 will work correctly not just at home but on business networks – too many IT managers the world over can remember Windows Vista and ME and the grief they caused with networking (which I think never got solved other than upgrading to a (paid) newer version of Windows.
I still have a bloody nag icon in my taskbar, even after doingf some registry edits and whatnot. Blody clowns.
