I think some people approach BZP and other “smart” drugs with the wrong attitude. People seem to get the impression that unless it has you buzzing like the purest MDMA then it’s crap and shouldn’t be given a second thought. Often they’ve come to this conclusion without having even tried them or even when they have tried them, they’ve drunk alcohol and/or taken other substances at the same time. Then they complain it “didn’t work properly” or “gave me a headache”! DUH!! Read the instructions FFS. They tell you specifically NOT to do that but as usual some people will think they know better.
For me personally, I’ve reached an age where I don’t want to be chewing my own face off all night, eyes rolling into the back of my head and unable to remember my own name. I’ve found a mixture of around 200mg BZP with about 50mg TFMPP (the combination is important, BZP doesn’t work as well on its own) will have me dancing and enjoying myself with a very definite buzz. No, it’s not as good as ecstasy but that stuff is so thin on the ground these days it may as well be. It gives your mind more than a nudge in the right direction though.
People that dismiss it all as “total crap, get some PROPER drugs” need to take their head out of their arses IMO. Remember this stuff is consistent (not hit ‘n miss as with “street” drugs), you know exactly what’s in it (hence theoretically safer) and the site I’ve always bought from delivers it to my door when they say they will.
