HGH are also good for bodybuilding because they promote an increase in muscle mass and boost metabolism.
I will take a little look into HGH 🙂

Ip Man wasn’t the only Grand master, just he got made famous by Bruce Lee. There were many highly skilled practitioners before and after him that had nothing to do with him per se. It’s just his fame that sets him apart really.
Yeah I know but it’s a pretty cool lineage to be a part of. I have studied at a couple of different schools but the one I preferred and studied at the longest is part of the british Taijiquan and Shaolin Wushu Association under Grandmaster Lee Kam Wing (out of Hong Kong) and Sifu Derek Frearson (Uk). Unfortunately health and safety stepped in and it became a bit more wussy. We had the highest drop out rate of any class I have ever been in. If you didn’t like pain you wouldn’t last long and it was taught as traditionally as is possible. In the Mantis we trained with fully live weapons from time to time as it is a totally different experience to training with practice weapons. Ah, the good old days!
I’m always looking for a Foshan Wing Chun class but they are hard to come by (Foshan features the phoenix eye punches which are a vital point striking system).

I was half way through learning all the pressure points when I stopped taking lessons from my first teacher, I’ve still got all the maps though, and I know the punches you’re on about (at least one or two of them anyway). The one I’m thinking of is a punch with the palm up (I’ll not say where you hit on here as I wouldn’t want anyone just reading it and doing it as it literally can be lethal).
The first teacher I had learnt from at least 2-3 different wing chun lineages over the course of about 30-40 years! He gives lessons in his mums shed, his old shed when he used to live in that house before he gave it to his mum, and that’s about 5 doors down from my house :D.
My favorite of the Ip Man linage’s is Duncan Leung’s, I’m fascinated by it, as it goes into so much more depth then most others, and is purely geared on the utilization of the art, rather then just going through the motions. Ip Man was very selective in how he taught people, and often couldn’t be bothered as he didn’t want to teach, but needed the cash. It was only the really high paying students that he bothered to teach properly. That’s why the lineages are so so different from different students of his. Duncan Leung payed A LOT of money to get taught, and demonstrates the best understanding of how to actually utilize Wing Chun in a fight imo (and successfully won many street fights in his youth when he was alive). Also a load of his students that didn’t even get very far with wing chun have taught it, purely as they have the Ip Man name behind them, and people assume they must be good, when they didn’t even complete the full system.
This is probably one of my fav vids on youtube …
Wow, the bloke in the doorway showed remarkable restraint. His stance was a little sloppy but he got the job done nicely. Bet the skinhead dude wasn’t expecting that.

Yeah It looks like he’s not highly skilled in wing chun, but it’s defiantly wing chun he’s using, and it worked so that’s all that matters in a situation like that really.

That is definitely not a fact. That is definitely incorrect.
You cannot tone a muscle. All you can do is make them get bigger, or lose weight so they appear more defined as there is less fat covering them. There is no such thing as toning.

Electrical stimulation will also produce a toned look, without exercise. Which is a pretty stupid thing to do… if you look ripped and somebody expects you to be able to take a strike, you could be in a lot of trouble for the sake of vanity.

I remember seeing this on the news when it happened. If I remember correctly it happened in Lytham or St Helens which isn’t very far from me at all.

Well done mate, I guess it’s a miracle eh? 😉
Just keep doing what you’re doing and remember to stay with it and stay consistent.

Haha nah, weird how I’ve put on 3KG in like 2 weeks though, got up to 93KG 1 rep max on the curl bar today, was painful but started of at 23KG, 5KG increases, 4-6 reps, can’t believe I hit that high especially after a bicep, shoulder and bit of a back workout too, was already so pumped lol

Krav Maga’s pretty brutal. We had this slightly psycho russian instructor who would make us go all-out. Was fun times though and certainly proved useful.
Been thinking of getting back into it fully, as well as kenjutsu. Good way to workout and a bit more fun than simply going to the gym.

Pretty everyday stuff. The local standard for me is, the intruder has to bleed. It’s not something I agree with but I can’t ignore the fact it’s seen as the “done thing”.
