thats an impressive ride – In England you are supposed to sound a bicycle bell so you don’t crash into jaywalkers (its not an offence here and they are everywhere), and elsewhere in Europe you must have one to warn other cyclists on the path but I didn’t know that folk also used them to let bears know where you were so they would leave you alone!
At present, bears are extinct in England since a few centuries, they are currently rare in most Northern European countries but Norway is trying to encourage them…
