Well my diet is simple. I eat fruits and vegetables in my diet because these food are best diet food and have lot of benefits. Thanks everyone for sharing your diet plans. I will try to follow these diet plans.

So what’s the deal with all these fake people posting health/fashion advice on here lately? I can understand the ones that are a thinly-veiled attempt at market-research or selling things, but who goes to the effort to create bots that post lifestyle advice?

Are there such things as ‘propaganda bots’ that automatically post government propaganda on forums? Is that why most of them are written as though they’ve been translated from Chinese?

yes – this does go on and there is automated software used but both govts and marketers in Asia use real people to generate the messages, usually students who get paid a small amount for doing this. But for Govt stuff they would use their native languages, but there isn’t much sense in state governments trying to encourage Westerners to eat more fruit and veg, when in many cases there are already perfectly legitimate trade routes for these items.

The variety of countries targeting this thread is a bit odd. The only common factors are they are Asian, most are young, about our age group too and the ones here obviously have some command of English.

At the time of posting this it would be lunchtime at both universities and call centres across Asia.

Sadly I see a much bleaker scenario here. not some bizzare govt conspiracy but young people themselves trying to find customers for things like fake goods, multi-species diet pills (I kid you not!) or to spread links perhaps leading to malware, and have somehow got it into their heads not just that “Westerners are rich, decadent and good targets for scams, poor quality goods and even dangerous/illegal products” but also by behaving like a stereotypical Asian character what might have hung around with “hippies” out of the sort of 1970s era sitcom now banned from our telly as racist, that due to the friendly multicultural nature of this forum, we will trust them enough and overlook their posts until they can send the main link.

Other sites just block entire countries out from access.

The problem with diets is that you only get the benefit as long as you are on them. As soon as your old eating habits return, all that work is reversed and it’s a lot easier to put on weight than to lose it.

I eat what the hell I like and train like a bastard!

Same dude. us hungry fuckers have to do more than most, else u just end up fkin massive & having been there once before, I ain’t goin’ back!

When it comes to enjoying a healthy lifestyle you have to include fiber in your diet of course. You’ll find a lot in bread, grains and rice but less well known is, it’s also found in fruits and vegetables.

hmm – I thought you both are way younger than me, still in your 20s, and though always having a healthy appetite I only started putting on appreciable weight after I turned 30. After eating just slightly more (on the advice of a doctor and other healthcare professionals to recover from a unpleasant illness) I am already at 64 kilos again (I had a few beers last night too which probably is also a cause of this).

but though ethnicity is a slight factor in weight gain all my friends of white Western ancestry did not seem to have this problem in the 90s and 2000s (maybe we all just took fuckloads of drugs as well). I am a bit fussy about my weight because as well as advancing years I am short – I don’t mind being short but short and fat is a no no both looks and health-wise.

what on earth are you chaps eating and drinking to get such weight gains, especially given that you seem to be active party folk as well? and how much of this is genuine health concerns or paranoia over body image caused by media and popular culture, which seems to now affect the blokes as much as (or worse than?) the girls?

Very kind of you to say so mate, but I’m (un)comfortably in my 30’s now, but thank you anyway, I must be doing something right, ha ha. My weight gain actually occurred when I was much younger (up to the age of 18, my age in years matched my weight in stones) and it was only when clubbing/caning became a weekly instead of monthly ritual that it started to drop off. I don’t actually eat much less than I did in my heavier days, but weights & sit-ups are my 2 main things to keep the weight off. Bust a gut doing them mon – fri & relax at weekends, so just tomorrow to go now & then 2 days off, yippee!

I recently set my eating plan to maintain my level of fitness.
I eat 1 apple, 1 glass of freshly squeezed fresh lemon juice, and omelet in morning meal.
In the afternoon meal I eat one breads along with fried fresh vegetables or various meats, fresh vegetables healthy salad and some fruits and veggies.
In dinner I take only fresh vegetables broth or green tea.

A good weight loss diet is the amylambethet diet. Smoke $100,000 worth of crack.
