Wanted a tattoo for ages now, but have never been able to settle on what I wanted. It came to me the other day, albeit I was inspired during a film though lol… “γνῶθι σεαυτόν”, It means “Know Yourself”. 10 cool points to whoever gets the film. Funnily enough the film Is one of my favourites too, and the quote is important to it too. This is just a bonus meaning though ;D
I didn’t pick It cos It sounds cool, I genuinely put alot of thought behind this. After going through shit throughout my life, mainly my mental Issues hehe, I had to spend alot of time looking at myself. Before I was on the right road to sorting myself out, I used to obsess over how other people saw me, and how I saw them. I created a person I thought I should be, from who I thought others were. It was only when I started to look within myself, and believe in who I really am, that I started to see the truth to the world. Hence, “Know yourself” 😉
Anyway, unfortunately I can’t use any Fonts on the foreign text (Ancient Greek I believe, doesn’t translate as normal Greek), so I can’t photo shop It, but here is the text, and a tattoo with the font style and positioning I want.
