What about it don’t you agree with?

Maximum respect for getting off the drugs Amy.

It takes a lot of willpower, personal growth and individual strength to get up from the bottom of a downward spiral like that.

I have a huge ammount of respect for YOUR ability to overcome your problems.

all i meant is that i agree with the “well done for getting off the drugs” aspect

Amy, this is Gina. I was in the Refuge with you! I am so glade to hear that you are doing well. I would really love to speak with you. I have two little munchkins also. An 18 month old little boy and a 7 month old little girl. We still live in Texas. I just divorce my husband after 5 years of marriage. He was a paranoid schizophrenia and bipolar. He was a wonderful man when he was in his right mind but that was not very often.
I spend a lot of time in Dallas with my daughter in either Childrens Hospital or the Children’s at Medical City. If you are in Dallas I would love to see you sometime and caught back up with you. Let me know what you are doing. I am fully intergrated and off all medications and doing wonderful. Of course I have to give all the glory to God as well!!!!!!!

    its because he’s liberal

christians dont like liberalism they think people should be forced by law to follow christian morals.

many would say obama follows more religious morals than the republicans. he has introduced state security – healthcare insurance for all etc.

many people believe true catholic morals to be synonomous with socialism. sharing and equality and all that. however that tends to be irish catholics etc.

just depends what your personal belief is i guess. the opinion of the american religious-right is selfish neoliberalism. it’s a generalisation i know

I would say his policies are more ‘moral’ but the fundamentalist christians would not. Having spoken to quite a few christians on the matter they dislike his attitude to drugs, abortion, multiculturalism (especially the righteous invasion of the evil muslim countries that god supposedly told george bush to embark on) This is why they call the republicans ‘Gods own party’.

i don’t disbelieve you, but i think you are making a generalised statement. there are so many different personal beliefs, opinions and interpretations within each religion, and the political spectrum is hardly as linear as we are making it out to be. left-wing christians do exist, you know.

A lot of British Christians including Anglo-Catholics definitely have centre left and even socialist political views. They are very prominent within the environmental and transition towns movements.
