I think its been spun out of this recent news article (given where the drugs worker in there is from)

ITV news there will be be the dregs of what was Central and Carlton (who always took a centre-right populist anti-drugs angle since the rave scene) so its obvious the kind of crap they will put out. I expect they are mixing up the statistics of one town with the entire NHS South Central ambulance area and also TVP which extends as far as Reading. yes there are bare k-heads in all these areas but I don’t think they are all in one town..

unfortunately the way it reads is that the drugs worker is saying the young peer group themselves believe this rubbish and thats what they told him, and to be fair I don’t think he’d be so daft as to lie.

A lot of people are “fashionably dumbed down” and don’t want to read things from decent drug advice places (and TBH ketamine doesn’t exactly help attention span and reading skills), so they believe any old rubbish their peers (particularly dealers) tell them…

There’s different K cultures though in different areas of the UK. Round here you do get the chavs/rudeboys/Ali G snorting the stuff (which can be amusing to watch from a distance). Even more amusing when you find they come from places like Stowmarket, Framlingham and Bungay :laugh_at:

to be fair it actually makes them less likely to fight one another, unless they end up arguing over dealing..
