  • N7 is a London based label, born from the twisted minds of Aaron “The Pimp”, Electric Delight and Djako. The three founders have long experience behind the decks as djs and played at many underground party nights.

After a long time of working together writing electronic music they decided to join forces put some more effort and start this label.

The imprint of the label comes from the masters like Jamie Bissmire / Paul Langley / Dj Bam Bam / Alex Peace, and the backgrounds of all three members which goes from old-school chicago to more german/english industrial sound and a touch of “ghetto”. The result is hard jacking techno beatz with happy uplifting mood and a strong industrial drive !

Guy’s we already have the promo for this and it is out of this world….
Review of the tracks to follow

You can hear the tracks here on the N7 Myspazz N7 Records

    OK here come the reviews

    A1 Jackin’ & Crackin’
    The Jackfoundation

Nice pounding groove with a really punchy “ghetto” vocal

    This is jackin techno ..
The pounding kick along with the vocals get you stomping to the solid beat.
The cheeky vocals work well with the kicks and percussion bringing you a fairly new “techno” sound. It breaks down nicely with nice wee synth noises and filtered percussion in the background. slowly increasing in volume and speed until it kicks in again full force with that lovely punchy kick with just the right amount of compression on it.

Not heard much from these guy’s before but this one has certainly opened my eyes

    A2 Jack to Detroit
    Aaron “The Pimp”

This sounds like a cross between and UMEK and pounding grooves – it is a real percussive number.
This track has a lovely warped kick to it at the start bringing in a real solid pounder.. It builds up well with the synths and percussion really making you wanna stomp and shake your thing.

The breakdown comes at just the right moment for you to be standing there screaming for the kickdrums to come back in, it makes you just want more and more.

This is a really well produced track, I loved Aaron’s first release on N7 and this one is even better.

This is the sort of sound you can imagine being played in a warehouse just
as well as it would sound in a club

    B1 The Roof Top
    Lenny Dee & Darc Marc

no surprises that this is a lenny & marc track with a very dark sounding kick drum

Some real old skool noises in this one.. showing the length of time both Lenny and Marc have been doing this stuff they really work. This is defo more of a free party track rather than a club number, which again show’s Lenny and Marc’s background.
A real driving pounding kick throughout this track with the synth noises creating a very warped feeling.

Although this has a really dark sounding kick it is still a really bouncy track.
This is a great colab between Lenny and Marc both getting to show their own styles in the one track but both of the them working well together. This Lenny/Marc collab make u wanna stomp your ass off. The use of the percussion to lighten the track before it kicks back in again works really well, with the bell sound lightening the load so to speak.

    B2 Da-Bang
    Electric Delight

This track is the epitomy of jackin’ techno.. Right from the start this track gets my foot stomping. It’s great to see another female producer making pounding techno. The warped bass beat developing into a solid 4×4 kick really driving the tune along.

You can tell from the style of the track that she is a Dj who knows how to work a crowd.

The squelchy noises through the track just about satisfy this acid lover but the lack of my precious 303 noises is more than compensated for with the wonderful kick drums.

Again a real free party feel to this one would keep the widest variety of crowd happy from hardcore for its meatiness through to the more purest techno lover.

Although minimal isn’t a word i could use to describe this kind of music the simplicity of both the 2nd tracks on each side makes me think they have used the KISS principal (keep it simple stupid… lol) they don’t tangle
the track up with unnecessary noises and instead give u simple clean kick ass techno with nice variations.

All 4 tracks bring you this interpreted by 6 different artists.. and what it gives you is one of the best kick ass jackin’ techno records around.
