It’s quite possible you won’t fuck whoever replies over and show whatever you want, but your predecessors have screwed you in that respect.

I know. It is still a tough nutt to crack. I would say about 90% of drug users are ashamed to admit they do it, even though they are happy getting drunk and acting like idiots every weekend.

when this producer said a “pro drug documentary” that immediately made me worried (more worried than suspicious; as I know that the bulk of documentary producers do not set out to harm their sources or make them look bad).
taking controllled drugs is illegal, it is not allowed to make a documentary in the UK (or any other EU country including the supposedly more liberal ones) glorifying illegal practices. Any citizen who detects bias in a broadcast documentary can file a formal complaint, as can law enforcement authorities (particularly if the broadcaster is public funded!)
it is permitted to make a documentary about a controversial subject (even if some of the activities shown are in legal grey areas) showing balanced views for and against; for individuals and groups appearing in one to lobby for changes to existing legislation; and acceptable for “youth channels” to produce “edgy/controversial” content. But that has been going on since I was a teenager and that is now a quarter century ago.
Whether these “controversial” programmes now do any good in the long run is another matter.
If done wrongly they can even put off those who would otherwise be less judgmental and more supportive to changes in legislation; also ignoring the “middle aged” audience is silly as they took more drugs than todays youth; worse still they can make the concept of public service broadcasting look bad.
Thanks for jumping in GL, always nice to have someone with some sense say something instead of me just waffling on. It was obvious he was saying whatever he could to get someone to answer.

The point is about safe use. Ket is a class C drug yet is one of the most harmful I have come across. Yet, people who inject it talk about the benefits. No pissing out their insides. Surely it is better to tell a Ket addict that its safer to inject rather than sniff. They will also use less of the substance when injecting which will also benefit them. A sex party is a great way of advertising what goes on behind closed doors. Everyone thinks these chem sex parties are full of the type of people who will come round and rape your kids, but they aren’t.
Sorry if I seem like I’m having a dig because I’m not, just an observation. You refer to the people you want to take part as users.
But I translate that as addicts because of some of the things you’ve said. Once someone has crossed the line from user to addict they just want a fix, safety is usually the last thing on their mind. They just want to get high. Addicts rarely listen to safety advice regarding risks to their life.
Also good luck finding a ketamine sex party. Have you ever tried having sex on Ketamine, I have and it doesn’t work.

How did you even manage to try?

We basically writhed around naked for a bit before concluding neither of us could physically perform; no coordination, and neither were in the head-space to enjoy/feel it lol.
Yeah that sounds more like how I remember it.
