Party Vibe

there was a minor incident between two people known to one another

one cut their opponent with a knife; Ambulance and cops turned up (because its a rave the cops often follow the Ambulance) – it was a minor wound so the victim refused medical treatment and then as revenge (when the cops had gone) hit their attacker (who fell in the river)

because the cops got called it ended up in the paper and it was discuseed on SJ and other boards (which is how I know about it despite being 150 miles away on NYE)- but incidents like this have a habit of being exaggerated.

This appears to have been the only major trouble at this event (TBH thats fairly good for an NYE event as sadly a lot of people use NYE to settle old scores) shouldn’t have happened at a party but is not exactly a full-scale “war”..

TBH as this otherwise sounded like a good party I think she can be forgiven for “not wanting to believe” that something bad happened – and the people who put on these events try to keep them as trouble-free as possible

sadly there are low-lifes who are quite determined to fight at a party nowadays as they see it as “part of the lifestyle” (trying to act the hard man etc) – often they will have their fight in some corner away from the stack as they know that people from the crews will break it up if they see trouble – IMO these people shouldn’t even be at parties and their friends should stop giving them info about them…

what matters though is that everyone else did their best to make something positive out of the night…
