I wonder what happened to Ollielizard (though he seems to have reappeared recently on youtube…)

Always thought it was amusing he drives all the way from near where I live to where my mum and sister still live just for a party (its 150 miles and two hours). Even when I eventually get my license I really can’t be fucked with that for a unlicensed event – way too much hassle and bait at my age – the feds view is anyone doing that over 35 is either mental or a dealer or both and ultimately they decide whether you get to stay on the road or not. you can have your license revoked now for crimes other than motoring related stuff. They are OK with you going to legal events provided you aren’t DUI or involved in any other crime/anti social behaviour, it would be against human rights to restrict you doing so.

to be fair ollies a smart chap and wouldn’t take unnecessary risks but I guess the difference is I lived within cycling distance of the bottom end of the Ridgeway and most SE England party venues (another advantage of this is they are all popular leisure cycling routes – so you go unnoticed by feds/locals, just another random cyclist) – but it isn’t a novelty for me to visit these venues when you’ve been to every one in the last 15 years.

I see TVP have bought a brand new helicopter since I moved away (it was in one of his other films)

I think he has been on here now and then. used to chat to him on one of the messenger services but the software keeps changing and my address book keeps getting hosed plus I am paranoid about letting the work issued blackberry merge the messenger details etc.

Sure he used to do a good hardstyle/techno show on one of the online radios as well, I remember the jingle “BROCCOLI DEMANDS TECHNO” from it.

Was looking at a late 80s/1990s era filofax I unearthed recently (kept it for 20 years) and seriously considering migrating my address book to this :laugh_at:
